Image: Alkane Resources<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/alkane.com.au\/projects\/tomingley-gold-project\/tomingley-gold-operations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tomingley gold operation<\/a> in New South Wales continues to be a boon for Alkane Resources, meeting its updated production guidance of 55\u201358,000 ounces (oz).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tomingley produced 57,217oz of gold for the 12 months to June 30, with production anticipated to be between 70\u201380,000oz for the 2024\u201325 financial year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTomingley is steadily increasing production from the Roswell underground,\u201d Alkane managing director Nic Earner&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/investors.alkane.com.au\/site\/pdf\/8d330732-5d7c-4bbd-9a77-46948026b656\/Tomingley-FY2024-Production-Update.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>. \u201cTomingley is now performing well, and the paste plant and flotation circuit upgrades remain on schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAlkane\u2019s board and management acknowledge and thank the employees and contractors of the company for their strong and continued commitment to safety, production and exploration performance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alkane announced back in June that it was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.australianmining.com.au\/alkane-reveals-big-future-for-tomingley\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">looking to expand key infrastructure<\/a>&nbsp;at Tomingley, increasing its production to above 100,000oz of gold per year while also expanding the site\u2019s plant to a nominal 1.5 million tonnes per annum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe underground at Roswell has begun production, and we expect to produce over 70,000 ounces of gold next year,\u201d Earner said at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe paste plant and the flotation\/regrind circuit are under construction with commissioning expected later this year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alkane&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.australianmining.com.au\/tomingleys-next-milestone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">blasted the first production stope<\/a>&nbsp;at its Roswell deposit in April, marking the next milestone in extending Tomingley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tomingley\u2019s five-year plan also involves the relocation of the Newell Highway, a project expected to cost Alkane $89 million in capital expenditure.
