{"id":8976,"date":"2025-06-10T09:37:11","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T23:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yinghuiinternational.com\/?p=8976"},"modified":"2025-06-11T09:40:13","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T23:40:13","slug":"metso-expands-presence-in-canada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yinghuiinternational.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/10\/metso-expands-presence-in-canada\/","title":{"rendered":"Metso expands presence in Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"50\" width=\"50\" srcset=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/b5e08ee8debb849ef78b8c99b82ea005?s=100&amp;d=mm&amp;r=g 2x\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/b5e08ee8debb849ef78b8c99b82ea005?s=50&amp;d=mm&amp;r=g\" alt=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.australianmining.com.au\/author\/oliviathomson\/\">Olivia Thomson<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.australianmining.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/8098887df4f34368_org-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Metso has broken ground at its <strong>new service centre in Prince George, British Columbia,<\/strong> bolstering the company\u2019s ability to best serve the emerging Canadian mining region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Originally\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metso.com\/corporate\/media\/news\/2024\/9\/metso-expands-presence-in-western-canada-with-new-service-center-to-boost-customer-support-in-key-mining-hub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced<\/a>\u00a0in September 2024, <strong>the centre will service mining equipment used from pit to port<\/strong>, including filters, flotation cells, grinding mills, <strong>crushers, screens, pumps, apron feeders<\/strong>, slurry handling, thickeners, loading and hauling solutions, and chute lining solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It will also <strong>possess warehousing capabilities for spare and wear par<\/strong>ts while offering on-site inspections that are OEM (original equipment manufacturer) certified, turnkey service solutions, and off-site repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe investment decision, announced in September 2024, was very well received by our customers,\u201d Metso vice president Canada sales and service Justin Ayotte&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metso.com\/corporate\/media\/news\/2025\/6\/metso-breaks-ground-in-western-canada-with-new-service-center-strengthening-footprint-and-customer-proximity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMetso\u2019s <strong>strengthened local presence<\/strong> <strong>will enable faster repairs, shorter turnaround times, and increased sustainability <\/strong>by reducing transportation distances. We\u2019re grateful for our customers\u2019 trust, and we remain committed to becoming the preferred service provider in the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The service centre is expected to be fully operational <strong>by early 2026<\/strong>, creating jobs for skilled personnel such as service engineers and technical experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The service facility in British Columbia follows Metso\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.australianmining.com.au\/metso-celebrates-one-year-of-operations-in-karratha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">celebrating<\/a>\u00a0the one-year anniversary of its service centre in Karratha, Western Australia, opening. <strong>The Karratha centre is the largest Metso service centre globally.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Metso is further increasing its global footprint by establishing a Metso training centre&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.australianmining.com.au\/metso-expands-arizona-footprint\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in Arizona, US<\/a>, a repair centre expansion in Chile, and the construction of a new service centre in Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is also increasing the repair shop area at its Arizonian service centre by nearly 60 per cent, which is expected to be completed in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Subscribe to&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.australianmining.com.au\/newsletter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Australian Mining<\/em><\/a><em>&nbsp;and receive the latest news on product announcements, industry developments, commodities and more.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Olivia Thomson Metso has broken ground at its new service centre in Prince George, British Columbia, bolstering the company\u2019s ability to best serve the emerging Canadian mining region.
